Services

Everything you need, under one roof

We look after your teeth from prevention through to complete treatment, with the same care for adults and children alike.

Check-up & treatment plan

We examine every tooth, take low-dose digital X-rays and show you on screen what needs doing, in what order and what it costs.

Hygiene & prevention

Ultrasonic scaling, professional polishing and Air-Flow for coffee or tobacco stains. Recommended twice a year.

Teeth whitening

In-chair whitening in a single visit, or at home with trays made to fit you. We protect your gums and keep sensitivity to a minimum.

White fillings

We treat decay with tooth-coloured composite, so your filling blends in and can’t be seen at all.

Children’s dentistry

The first visit is all fun: we show little ones our tools, and apply sealants and fluoride so they grow up free of decay.

Root canal treatment

When a tooth aches or becomes infected, we save it with root canal treatment under local anaesthetic, in one or two visits.

Clear aligners

We straighten teeth discreetly with clear aligners that hardly anyone notices. Suitable for teenagers and adults.

Crowns & bridges

We rebuild badly damaged or missing teeth with zirconia or porcelain crowns that look and work just like natural teeth.

About us

A neighbourhood practice with big-clinic technology

Nova Dental was opened in 2016 by two dentists who wanted a place patients could visit without fear.

We’re on Ashworth Row, a short walk from Manchester city centre. We have two surgeries, digital X-rays, an intraoral scanner and a waiting room with a play corner for children.

We love getting to know the families we treat: many of our patients come with their children, and now with their grandchildren too.

Frequently asked questions

Got a question? It’s probably answered here

We’ve gathered the questions our reception team hears most often.

Can’t find your answer?Give us a call, we’re happy to help:
020 7946 0000
When should I bring my child to the dentist?

We recommend a first visit at around 2–3 years old, once all the baby teeth are through. It’s a short, get-to-know-you visit so your little one gets used to us without any stress.

How often should I see the hygienist?

For most people, every 6 months. If you have sensitive gums, wear a brace or smoke, we may recommend every 3–4 months.

Does whitening damage enamel?

No, not when it’s done properly under a dentist’s supervision. We use tested professional gels, and we check your teeth and gums are healthy first.

What should I do in an emergency?

Call us on 020 7946 0000. We keep emergency slots free every day, so most of the time we can see you the very same day.

Does root canal treatment hurt?

No. Treatment is carried out under local anaesthetic, so you won’t feel pain. The tooth may be a little tender for a day or two afterwards.

Can I pay by card or spread the cost?

Yes, we accept card payments, and for larger treatments we offer interest-free payment plans through our finance partners.
