Porcelain veneers, professional whitening and contouring. We show you your new smile on a digital mock-up before we begin.
Microscope root canals
Root canal treatment is carried out under a microscope at up to 25× magnification. That's how we save teeth others would have taken out.
Restorative dentistry
Crowns and bridges in zirconia or pressed ceramic, made in a digital lab. The shade is matched precisely to your neighbouring teeth.
Gum health
We treat bleeding gums and loose teeth, from deep cleaning below the gumline to periodontal surgery and bone grafting.
Children's dentistry
A surgery designed for children, with a dedicated dentist. Sealants, fluoride and gentle treatment, so their first memory of the dentist is a happy one.
3D imaging (CBCT)
Our own dental CT scanner: a complete image of both jaws in 20 seconds, with a low radiation dose. Your results are emailed to you.
About the clinic
A clinic designed to help you feel at ease
Highland Dental opened in 2012 with a single surgery on Thistle Row. Today we are a team of 11 dentists and 14 nurses in the same building, with our own imaging suite and a separate decontamination room.
But we've kept what brought us our first patients: time for every person, clear explanations and a treatment plan where you know every stage and every cost in advance.

Answers in brief

How long is the first consultation?
About 45 minutes. The dentist examines you, we take any X-rays needed and talk through your treatment options. You go home with a written plan and the fee for every stage.
How long does a dental implant take?
Placing the implant takes around an hour under local anaesthetic. It then needs 3–4 months to heal, after which we fit the permanent crown. In the meantime you wear a temporary restoration.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. For treatment over £1,000 you can spread the cost over up to 12 months, interest-free, subject to status. You can also pay in stages as your treatment progresses.
Do you treat children?
Yes, we have a surgery and a dentist dedicated to children. We recommend a first visit at around 2–3 years old, just to get used to us, then check-ups every six months.
What if I have an emergency?
Call 020 7946 0000. We keep emergency slots free every day, so we can usually see you the same day during opening hours.
I'm only visiting. Can I still book?
Of course. Whether you're studying, working or on holiday here, you can book like any other patient. You'll receive an itemised receipt in English that you can keep for your records.
